In Eindhoven, the Netherlands, the need for a comprehensive, sustainable coexistence between humans and other species is complemented by another challenge: in addition to ecological solutions, the project also explores options for affordable housing. The Trudo Vertical Forest addresses both of these issues, serving not only as a vision for future solutions but also as a way to better connect the city with nature. But can a single building save an entire forest? And how many trees can actually fit on a skyscraper?
