How do you construct a building at the very end of the world under the most extreme conditions? Scientists frustrated by unsuitable designs, deteriorating materials, and budget constraints, and architecture students eager for hands-on experience join forces. It’s a major challenge for everyone. The building must be constructed in Colorado, dismantled, and—after traveling a thousand kilometers—reassembled at its final destination: Antarctica.
