What does dance have in common with architecture? A great deal, at least in the oeuvre of Aires Mateus – freedom of movement, sense for composition and detail.

The architecture of the Portuguese architect Manuel Aires Mateus is layered, complex and intriguing. His minimalist buildings might give an almost austere sculptural impression, in combination with the interior design and the surrounding landscape, however, it speaks a language of harmony. The architect tells about his fascinations and what he considers to be the core principles of architecture. The director Henrique Pina achieved to film a visual poem about the work of the world-acclaimed Portuguese architect.

The director will introduce the screening personally.

The screening in Podolí Waterworks is presented in parternship with Pražské vodovody a kanalizace, a. s.
