This short poetic film by Greta Stocklassa, winner of the Český Lev Film Award and author of several films produced by the Kruh association, focuses on the building of the Czech Embassy in Berlin, designed by the visionary architectural duo Věra and Vladimír Machonin. The director combines unique footage of the building before its reconstruction with archival materials, which she breathes life back into with the help of artificial intelligence. The iconic structure, reminiscent of a spaceship, remains misunderstood by many and burdened by the political connotations of the past.
