A story by the director Gilles Coudert about growing up in the largest complex of houses by Le Corbusier in Europe combines testimonies of many contemporary artists and inhabitants, who – each in their own way – claim the influence and heritage of this revolutionary architect.
The film introduces three main urban works by Le Corbusier – the architectural piece in Firminy, the summer house Cabanon de Roquebrune and the famous housing unit Cité Radieuse in Marseille and brings out unique images together with yet unpublished archival footage of the everyday life in the 1970s.
