The island of Corfu became a second home for architect Piers Taylor. Instead of a lavish villa, he designed a building inspired by shepherd’s huts and agricultural shelters scattered among olive trees. The rough concrete structure, with no glazed windows, bears the marks of the labour of those who built it and seems to be a part of an olive harvest rather than a living space. The film traces a personal relationship to place and a bold conception of home as a silent dialogue between man, landscape, and architecture.
