Documentary follows the last year in the life of Israeli sculptor Dani Karavan, the author of almost hundred executions on the verge of sculpture and architecture. Karavan describes his own work with sensitivity, humour, but also frustration. Despite international success he struggled with persisting discontent – his works are not properly kept, he starts to feel his age and the last commission for the ghetto memorial in Warsaw has become subject of political and artistic disputes. The documentary offers a one-time chance to discover the complex character of a great artist.
