Havana, from on High

Life on the rooftops offers an unusual view from above on the Cuban capital.

Its inhabitants retired here from the noise and smell of the bustling city. Nonetheless, the beautiful views are only a small compensation for problems that pushed them out there. Due to a long-term housing shortage Havana keeps a vibrant community illegally occupying its rooftops. This unusual moving image shows a charm of the decaying city, which does not cease to astonish the world.
