The film presents principal projects by Argentinian architect and designer Emilio Ambasz who is considered to be the pioneer of green architecture. His typical inclusion of vast green areas into the projects is known as “green over gray”. Through interviews with famous architects and artists such as Tadao Ando, Kengo Kuma or James Wines, all of whom admire Ambasz, his unforgettable influence on changing perspectives on the role of architecture in relation to the environment is explained. Ambasz’s buildings have a utopian, almost dreamlike feel, and the admirably shot documentary adds to this atmosphere.
Prague: The projection will be presented by the artistic director of the Le FIFA festival and the curator of the Inspiration section Philippe U. del Drago.
