Designed by the prestigious Pritzker Prize winner Ryu Nishizawa, the house on the Chilean coast is part of a large-scale Eight-Cubed project bringing together world-renowned Chilean and Japanese architects. It was a challenge for both the architect and the developer. While one had to deal with the delicate setting in an inhospitable landscape, the other had to sell the expensive project to its future users without the possibility of changing it in any way. In the end, Nishizawa created a unique structure with an undulating concrete roof and glass walls.
