Remarkable film tribute to Peter Rice introduces an extraordinary career and character of one of the most acknowledged engineers of the 20th century – his childhood in the Irish Dundalk, his work on world-renowned buildings such as the Opera House in Sydney, Centre Pompidou and Lloyd’s Building as well as his premature death in 1992. Thanks to unique shots of his own and interviews with his professional and personal colleagues the documentary uncovers a story of a humble genius, who in the shadow of architectural icons enabled building yet unheard of constructions that never cease to fascinate the world.
