Documentary outlining the life and work of the prominent author of modern Czech architecture

The director Pavel Jirásek introduces historical importance as well as the global and local impact of the work by Bohuslav Fuchs today. At the same time, it presents a unique tradition of functionalism in Brno with stories of its main representative. Among his most remarkable designs are the Zeman’s café and hotel Avion admired by none less than Le Corbusier.

The director will introduce the screening personally.
